MoneyLog ("the App") is a personal finance and expense-tracking application for iOS. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is straightforward: we do not collect any personal data.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• Financial data, transaction records, or account balances
• Device identifiers or location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Crash reports or diagnostic data beyond what Apple automatically collects

3. Local Data Storage

All data you enter into the App — including transactions, categories, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.

You have full ownership and control over your data at all times. Deleting the App removes all associated data from your device.

4. Excel Import Feature

The App includes an optional feature that allows you to import financial records from Excel files (.xlsx, .xls, .csv). When you use this feature, the contents of the selected file are sent to a processing server for parsing.

• File contents are transmitted solely for the purpose of parsing and converting them into transaction records.
• Uploaded data is not stored, logged, or used for any other purpose by the server.
• The connection is made over HTTPS (encrypted).
• This feature is entirely optional. You can use all other features of the App without sending any data to a server.

5. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external network communication is the optional Excel import feature described in Section 4.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
